Thank you everyone for your input. The knowledge and real world support here is so valuable, Sometimes, we just have to chill the F out and soak up some knowledge before stepping foot in Dr. Frankensteins laboratory!

Re: Do you tell the Doc? Do you tell the PA?

I had what once was considered Cadillac insurance. first xrays and visit then MRI total out of pocket 900 buck. then more visits 45 a piece. then surgeon more visits 25 a piece. then surgery. up front 2700 for operating room and 2100 for surgeon that's before I got to get surgery. now im about 500 or so miselanious bills that keep showing up for this that and the other..
I had the 2000 deductible with 80/20 but some how I spent a shit ton more out of pocket.... go figure. this was all in network too.. I don't have a clue but I bent over and took it to get fixed. I know im missing something to but that's an idea of what it may cost you.

        good luck

Its a real fucking shame that we cant discuss certain things with our doctors for fear that they will be the typical misinformed and judgmental type.
Ive known MDs who were geniuses in surgery but utterly clueless about anything else
