Hip scope wit repairs

Coming up on 6 years since I had this done on my left hip. Back then there wasn't anyone on here that had it done. Any of you have this done at all? I had a bad labral tear and the femoral head had to be shaved down. The recovery for me was about 18 months. I have a feeling this may be torn again based on symptoms, but really have no intention of having it done again. Most likely will wait till its bad and needs to be replaced which my doc said can actually be an easier recovery than the scope was. Just looking for any of you who have had a scope done on your hip and your experiences with it after.

i can only imagine how freaking brutal painful that is and was. your hips just like your back are used in every single move your body makes so it is damn near impossible to keep them stationary. i did have a boss that had both of his hips replaced and he was good as new in about 6 months but then again that dude tore his ackles tendon off the bone and walked around on it for months.
maybe look into a clinic there by you baby1 that does dry needling, the muscle graffing/scaping some internal e stims and even possibly getting some plasma rich therapy done. that's where they spin out your own plasma then put it back into an area that is injured to help the area heal without surgery

Thanks guns. I am definitely going to look into the dry needling and hopefully find someone around here who does it. My weekly massages help but adding the dry needling to that may help even more

if the messaging is helping then you would prob do fantastic with the scrapping/graffing alongside of the dry needling. it hurts pretty bad but it works very very well. i would say it is a little more intense than deep tissue with the pain not being as bad after each session as all the bad stuff is broken down. my legs from top to bottom were horrible and after two session it hurt but not bad at all while she was doing it
