If any of you suffer significant muscle pain, spams, tension, etc. I highly suggest looking into dry needling. I just got it done to my neck, shoulders, back, pecs today. Wish I had done it years ago. The pain and tension in my neck and shoulders already feels so much better. Find a proficient physical therapist and try it out.

Re: Dry needling
Who's out it's not Chinese stuff. It's modern Western medicine. It's called trigger point release therapy. Trust me they wouldn't be pushing it on the whole special operations community if it weren't legitOriginally posted by FUZO View PostIm not into that chinese stuff

Re: Dry needling
They use acupuncture needles. They do not put them in you to refocus your energy or what ever the acupuncture Chinese medicine says. The needles are inserted into tension/ trigger point in the muscle. The muscle hyper spasms and then relaxes. Today in my real bad areas she attached electrodes at the end and made it spasm and relax even moreOriginally posted by sofargone561 View Postis this the same as accupuncture? i always thought that would feel good.

Re: Dry needling
I know it said that some rotator cuff Impingements can be treated by it but I'm not sure how. Today they worked on my ever increasing neck shoulder and back tension/ pain that's been steadily getting worse to the point it's been waking me up. I've had a bunch of buddies get their low back and ITB treated recentlyOriginally posted by animal87 View PostWhat exactely does it do for shoulder pain? I've done rotater cuff exercises, all kinds of stuff and my shoulders still hurtl
