Anyone ever injure their neck, I did something, dobby have full range of motion, when I sit neck hurts when I lay flat its somewhat better, both arm do fall asleep here and there, my traps are always tight,, sometimes causes headaches,
If you've had these what did u find to be the cause
yeah man, issues with arms or hands is a bad sign with the nerves being pinched. unless you slept funky and woke up like that and that will normally resolve itself in a day or two. may need x rays and or mri to make sure you havent got a bulging disk compressed or even a broken neck. all of which could lead to very serious issues
I got one Dzone. I tried it first. I think if my neck was not so bad it may have helped. you can also have a prob with the disc pushing on the cord and that cannot be fixed with the traction.
Posture has helped me a lot. Trying to keep my head and shoulders back while at work on the computer has relieved a bunch of stress on my neck.

I use one of those headstraps with a chain to build up the neck muscles. Sometimes that can get rid of neck pain. Plus, it doesnt hurt as bad to get punched in the face when your neck is thick and strong. lol
Thankful for this thread. I just got back from doc today and he wanted to admit me. When i asked him if i could put it off he said next week at the latest. Cord is pinched from two sides, nasty. Because I've had two surgeries in the front of my throat (reconstruc and thyroid removal, too much to cut into and would most likely lose voice. So, going thru the back of the neck. They said it's bad man. Was everyone's opinion about planning now for next week? Get bpc 157 or MK677, run 200mg test week? I need to heal this quickly and well. i eat and drink organic, clean but also 58 beat up yrs old. Opinions on post-surgery? Thanks

damn man that's rough to hear for sure. for healing bpc tb and gh are going to be your best bets for sure. i have read research on using low dose test and deca/npp for healing injuries as well. that is as long as it doesnt mess with your health markers. the peps and gh will def help for sure though

Yeah, neck stuff like that can be really tricky and frustrating. Based on what you're describing—limited range of motion, pain when sitting, some relief when lying flat, arms falling asleep, tight traps, and even headaches—it definitely sounds like more than just a simple muscle strain.
A lot of people who've had similar symptoms have ended up dealing with things like:
Cervical disc issues, like a herniated or bulging disc. These can press on nerves and cause arm numbness/tingling, neck pain, and even headaches.
Nerve impingement or radiculopathy, where a nerve in your neck is compressed or irritated—this can explain the arms falling asleep and even the trap tightness (because other muscles might be overcompensating).
Postural problems, especially from sitting too long or with poor alignment (desk work, phones, etc.), which can cause chronic trap tightness and tension headaches.
Muscle imbalances, where traps are overworked and deep neck stabilizers are underactive.
Facet joint dysfunction or cervical spine alignment issues.
A lot of people find relief through a combination of physical therapy, chiropractic care, and corrective exercises. Dry needling, massage, or even nerve glides can help too, depending on the root cause.
That said, because you're experiencing arm numbness and persistent tightness with possible nerve involvement, it would be smart to get it checked out—especially with a physical therapist or spine specialist. They can assess whether it’s muscular, nerve-related, or structural.
In the meantime, keeping your posture in check, avoiding aggravating positions, and using heat or gentle stretching might give you some temporary relief. But def don’t push through it too hard—it’s your neck, after all.
