It is probably expenssive as well but stem cells are a viable option. Joe Rogan tore up his shoulder and got them. He did not require surgery even though the docs said he would need it.

Yes, Ive thought about stem cells. I think it is about $5000 or more. Its a roll of the dice, It works like a miracle for some people and for some, it is like flushing money down the toilet. I will look deeper into it for sure.

gotclen had it done a couple years back and he told me it didnt do a damn thing for him at all.

another treatment to look into is prp therapy. platelet rich plasma therapy. it is where the take your blood out and spin out all the good stuff for healing and then inject it into the injured area. i know a few people that have had some pretty good success with that stuff. my primary doc actually does it in his office for people

There are a lot of unscrupulous places that do not use real stem cells. I think for the most part a good place using high quality stems will see some improvement.

I tried working out last week a couple times. Pullups. pushups. Doing further damage. I paid for it big time with stabbing pain for hours. Then today when I saw the mri report, I knew why
Damn Dzone, that sounds awful! I can only relate with having a torn labrum in my hip, and yes the pain is excruciating. With all your experience, and knowledge, I am confident you will get through this. If you have to have surgery, I would think they would have options for a payment plan? You could probably do an post surgery PT on your own. I have heard that PT helps tears but I never really believed in that. If its torn its torn, and in need of repair, that's what I think anyway. Maybe Fuzo will jump in here, but he has had both shoulders done back in 2000-2002. Twice on 1 shoulder and they removed part of the clavicle during surgery. He did really well post surgery and the doc gave him great advice on modifying his training so he could continue. You will get through this and, I agree, water is an amazing reliever and healer
