  • Fiber Reduces Heart Disease and Lengthens Life

A study of 1,373 men over a 40 year period found that an additional 10 grams of dietary fiber1 intake per day reduced coronary heart disease mortality by 17 percent, and death from any cause by 9 percent.
Many Americans eat too many refined grains and junk foods and not enough fresh fruits and vegetables. This has resulted in low fiber intake across America. The US government recommends 25 grams of fiber per day. Most Americans eat half that.
I believe optimal fiber intake is in the range of 35 - 50 grams per day. Adequate fiber is a nutrition basic of extreme importance for digestive health, proper bowel function, and the detoxification of many toxic waste products. In addition, research has shown that 50 grams of fiber can reduce cholesterol and boost weight loss.
Our Fiber Helper product qualifies for the FDA heart healthy claim of reducing heart disease risk. It is a pleasant tasting and easy to mix soluble fiber that can easily boost your fiber intake into a better range.
