I use it for hard cardio. Normally I take 200 mg ed. before heavy cardio like rolling or sparring I do 1-1.4 grams. Have gone up to 2 grams with not much benefit but it does mess with my stomach a little. Work your way up from 200 mg if you choose to use it.

I take it with Bragg's apple cider vinegar. This helps break down the fungus's beta glucan fiber and makes for better tolerance at higher doses and bioavailability.

If you are not maxing out your heart rate and respiration you will not see much benefit, at least for me. I wear a heartrate monitor and when using cordyceps I find my heart rate is normally 6-10 beats slower minute and my VO2 max is slightly increased. Also recovery is quicker between rounds.

i am not sure but I think it reduces O2 usage in the cardio vascular system. If you do not need as much O2 you will last longer at max output.

well shit, idk if that would actually help me out at all from a bodybuilding standpoint esp for fat burning. it is hard enough to get my heart rate up with cardio as it is. i can walk on an incline at 3-3.5mph and my hr wont get over 100 and if i go with a light jog at 4.5-5mph it still stays in around 100-109. the steps on the other hand at 68-80spm will crank it up pretty good with an average in the 130s. so if it drove it lower than i would have to go faster and that's damn near running haha. may give it a try in the off season when i am way heavier and training a lot heavier. the vo2 i think would help a ton with squats and deads for sure

Maybe help for squats/deads, I have no idea. Knees are shot and back is bad. All light here but I do tons of cardio and struggle with low heartrate as well.

I have found elliptical machine is best for me. Go for 5 minutes to warm up. Then I bump the resistance manually to 8-9 out of 10 and speed up to 90% of my max output for 30 seconds. After I drop the resistance back to 4 for 30 seconds. Back and forth. I do sets of this for 30 minutes. Normally start with 6 sets every 10 minutes. I only do 4 for the last. Your heartrate will get WAY up there. Kinda like cardio HITT(I do incline walking as well but never touch the handles, I see dummys leaning back, holding the handles. Does nothing for you. Might as well walk at zero incline still rarely break 100 bpm)

i hate the eliptical man. every single one i have tried out makes my feet hurt so damn bad. i have tried different shoes and even went bare foot with no success at all. my wife loves a couple that we have at the various gyms we go to. i last about 8 mins and my feet are asleep.
i hear you on the dick heads holding on. they do it on the stepper and the tread and it pisses me off to no end. esp if i am waiting to use the machines and they are basically wasting mine and their time. when i do get on the tread i crank it up max incline and roll. the only bad thing is that it beats the hell out of my lower back and hips other than not getting my heart rate up without running. we have one at 3 of the gyms i go to that will go damn near vertical
