    yep the fda guidelines and suggestions are about 40-50 years behind actual research. the sad thing is that their are docs and nutritionists both out there still prescribing and suggesting the old school crap that is pretty much worthless in the real world

      I have always run a low Carb diets < cutting or balking .
      Have not had problems have always had energy for great work outs
      I don't use low fat diets
