They had to do a study to come to this conclusion? Of course any kind of hardship will cause more then food insecurity. My brother has crones and the only times he has had bad flare ups or surgery has been when he's been dumped by a girl bad breakup whatever. It will land him in the hospital every time. He gets so stressed it literally just about killed him last time. Stress kills your body. so its probably not just food insecurity. If they are struggling to eat they are struggling with every bill. Add the responsibility of feeding children that stress triples.
