Ingredients
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • chopped candy bars ( we usually chop up about 2 cups , but you can do what you wish)

Directions
  • Preheat oven 375 degrees.

  • Combine flour, salt and baking soda in bowl and set aside

  • Combine brown sugar, white sugar, butter and vanilla and beat until creamy

  • Add eggs and beat till mixed

  • Add dry ingredients and mix well

  • Hand stir in the chocolate bar chunks

  • Drop by teaspoonful on ungreased cookie sheet

  • Bake 8 to 10 minutes

  • We like our cookies more soft and chewy so I usually take them out when they are set but not brown on top.

  • Oven times may vary and leave them cool for a few minutes on the cookie sheet
