Every year we have lots of yummy fun size chocolate bars left from Trick or Treat. So lil one and I cut up whatever is left :twix, milky way, reeses, snickers, crunch, hershey or whatever, and make cookies with them
Ingredients
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
1 cup softened butter
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
chopped candy bars ( we usually chop up about 2 cups , but you can do what you wish)
Directions
Preheat oven 375 degrees.
Combine flour, salt and baking soda in bowl and set aside
Combine brown sugar, white sugar, butter and vanilla and beat until creamy
Add eggs and beat till mixed
Add dry ingredients and mix well
Hand stir in the chocolate bar chunks
Drop by teaspoonful on ungreased cookie sheet
Bake 8 to 10 minutes
We like our cookies more soft and chewy so I usually take them out when they are set but not brown on top.
Oven times may vary and leave them cool for a few minutes on the cookie sheet
