-Mike Ricci def. Colin Fletcher via Unanimous Decision after 3 Rounds.

-Chris Camozzi def. Nick Ring via Split Decision after 3 Rounds.

-Jake Ellenberger def. Nate Marquardt via KO (punches) at 3:00 of Round 1.
Wow, Jake has massive power. I thought Nate would have his way in this one.

-Johny Hendricks def. Carlos Condit via Unanimous Decision after 3 Rounds.
Even with a broken hand he managed a win. Condit is a warrior but hendricks got the #1 contender spot. Can Hendricks beat GSP?

-Georges St-Pierre def. Nick Diaz via Unanimous Decision after 5 Rounds.
No real surprise here. Nick accuses GSP of steroids as a sign of good sportsmanship................ GSP looks unbeatable unless he gets clipped on the chin (see GSP vs Sera 1) Hendricks has heavy hands and great wrestling to stop the take down. should be a good match.

I am really surprised the fight went that long. Diaz is tough just not as tough as GSP.

Gsp through Diaz around like a rag doll. It looked like a man vs a boy. Gsp is all class even after ***** Diaz through shots after the bell and constantly ran his mouth. I'd love to see Hendricks and Gsp that could test Gsps stand up.

So are most champions. They only have to not lose. The longer they keep the belt the bigger the bank. It makes sense really. Why get hurt if you don't have to.

Lots of people say that but its not for GSP to make it interesting. He's the KING.He's got the crown, the belt and the glory. Its for his opponents to knock him off his thrown. It for his opponents to go for the gold and make the fight exciting and TAKE THE BELT! All GSP has to do in not let anyone.

And so his batting average is still 1000.Or do we call this 1001??

Ok, here's my thoughts. I personally think that Nick has shown that GSP is not the machine we though he was. I don't know if it's GSP putting on size or what but he was gassed in the 4th round...maybe a little sooner. That was something I had never seen from him. I mean, he was constantly looking at the clock. His takedowns got very lazy and slow (not to mention being stuffed by Nick). Everything slowed down substantially.

We all knew GSP would get Nick down....that was a no brainer. But for the people that say Nick did nothing on the ground....that's CRAZY!! GSP could barely land any GnP because Nick's defense was so good. He all but stalled GSP's offense on the ground (compared to his other fights).

Nick also showed that GSP's chin is just not top level, IMO of course. He rocked GSP early and it was just on one of the pitty pat punches.

I also think that Nick beat GSP standing. It really looked to me like GSP was going to get caught at the end of the fight when he started trying to stand with Nick.

Now with all of that being said, GSP did a great job. He defended against many subs on the ground (hard to see them but it's because GSP was defending them as soon as Nick went to set them up). I thought GSP and Nick both did great in the BJJ aspect even though it didn't look like much was going on.

GSP's takedowns were great as usual except after the 3rd round.

GSP has the freaking heart of a lion because he was obviously spent cardio wise and pushed through

Now my thoughts on the Hendricks fight....trouble for GSP! Hendricks has the wrestling to stuff GSP's takedowns for the most part AND (this is the biggie) GSP can't take Hendricks' punches! He hits like a mack truck and I just don't think GSP has a good chin. This fight will be very interesting and can be easily lost by GSP if he's not careful.

If anyone thinks GSP has a chance with Anderson after that performance this weekend, they are NUTS!! Anderson would have walked through GSP by the middle of the 2nd round.

      And I like GSP.....haha!

You nailed it bro, exact same way i looked at it. Gsp could not do damage at all. He had had hooks in for a second and thats about it. And end of 3rd gsp played nicks game for half a min and said screw that after eating a few.

Id love to see a GSP/Silva fight. While Silva is a beast,as we saw with his fight with Chael he got his ass beat the entire 5 rounds and got lucky with a submission in the 5th,so he can also be beat.

GSP is a great fighter with an incredible heart as has been said. He's also a very smart fighter who adapts his style to whomever he's fighting. It will be no different in a Silva fight.

Silva may take it if they ever meet, but I guarantee you it will not be a 1st round knockout.
