TweetI think you should just try every different method and switch up every 3 months or so. I've done bi's and tri's together and felt I gained the most from doing that. I've done chest & tri's, back & bi's and now I'm doing chest & bi's, back & tri's. It might sound silly but you have to change your routine around and shock the muscle to see growth.
TweetDo you do any forearm training? The reason i ask is bc you can have a second bi day when hitting your forearms by inderctly hitting your bicep. What i mean is that you can train the underlying brachii with the most common forearm movemnets ( rev BB curls, Hammer curls ect ect) you dont need that many sets/reps either. What that accomplishes is thickening the brachii thus pushing the bicep up, giving it that peaked out look while thickening the overall cricumference of your arm.
But really, if you want huge arms you need to hit your tri's harder than your bi's.
Tweetyea i do forearm traning when i do biceps i usally do forearms curls between sets... i hear all kinds of things so I think i get the point that everybodys body reacts diffrently and i should just try to mix it up and see what works best for me and take it slow and work out on my legs but i have skinny legs and it just seems pointless. but i do hate my legs and wish they were bigger so i need to start hitting them more... btw is weight gainer good to take the only supplement im taking right now is On's 100% whey protien choclate mint flavor its alrite, but ive been thinking about getting weight gainer is it worth it cus i want to get allt he calories i can and i wanted to know if it worth the money, and also ive heard n02 is good supplement to take https://www.netnutri.com/browse.cfm/4,1514.html u can read about it here if ur not familier about it.. but what else is good to take im kinda lost in the whole supplements catergory i dont mind spending the money has long as it works.. thanks alot in advance
TweetPretty much all weight gainers will ahve for the extra calories is maltodextrin or dextrose or both. Those are pretty high glycemic and will spike your insulin levels which triggers fat storage. You are much better off getting the extra cals from a good complex/low glycemic carbohydrate like oats. You can make your own protein bars with the oats and protein, or grind oats up in the blender and add to your protein for a good higher cal shake. The weight gainers are basically sugars and are only good for a Post Workout Shake where you want the insulin spike IMO.Originally Posted by THE HULK

TweetJust wishing isn't going to get anything done. If there is one thing that makes me angry in the gym, it is the guy with big arms and no legs. You see them walking around with 19" arms and 19" quads. GGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!Originally Posted by THE HULK
PLEASE, don't be one of those guys.

TweetI used to do push movements one day and pull movements on another, but my arms didn't really grow until I started doing bi's and tri's together. I've been working out for 30 years.Originally Posted by THE HULK
