TweetI had my Patella dislocated when I was playing soccer in Germany back in 84. after that it would dislocate (my knee) just about all the time ! even after surgery. I had another one several years ago and haven't had any issues except some inflammation when im working it too much. So much for my Soccer career. Take care of it now while you're still young !

TweetI wish I took care of mine while young
Tweetwhat does this mean
The medial meniscus demonstrates attenuation of the body and
posterior horn suggesting chronic free edge tear or prior
surgical debridement. The medial collateral ligament is intact. Articular cartilages of medial compartment demonstrate near
complete cartilaginous loss at its weightbearing surface.
The anterior horn of the lateral meniscus appears intact. The
posterior horn of the lateral meniscus demonstrates a small
horizontal tear measuring 1.0 cm and extending to the inferior
surface. The entire posterior horn of the lateral meniscus
demonstrates abnormal shape and signal consistent with myxoid
degeneration. Mild extrusion of the body of the lateral meniscus
is noted. The lateral collateral ligament, and popliteus tendon
are intact. Articular cartilages of the lateral compartment
demonstrate a full-thickness cartilaginous defect at the
posterior aspect of the lateral tibial plateau measuring 2.8 x
2.3 cm with associated subchondral stress marrow changes.
Complete cartilaginous loss at the posterior aspect of the
weightbearing portion of the lateral femoral condyle measuring
3.2 x 2.5 cm.

~This is arthritis, sounds like bone on bone. Youve lost the padding between the bones. What does the orthopedic surgeon recommend?
TweetI see 1 on 30th
TweetThat is a whole lotta medical mumbo jumbo! Bone on bone, "what's your pain level on a scale of 1-10?"

TweetWhen setting maybe a 2 or 3. Moving if I keep leg straight about a 7 through 10. If bend knee off the charts. The weird part is sometimes my left knee folds up on its own.
TweetJust got back from doctor. It needs to be replaced. Can't do it now the virus thing. He did give me knee shot. It stopped the pain for now.
TweetOh crud. I was afraid of that. They do some amazing things these days with knee replacements. You can run on those new knees.
TweetI would settle for a fast walk lol. The steroid shot in knee killed the pain pretty good. How long will it last.
