Tweethere is what i am going to say about cross fit man. ballastic movements while fatigued are very bad for your joints. using momentum while being fatigued is bad for your joints. can you get into great shape and conditioning while doing cross fit? absofreakinglutely. but is the damage you can possibly do to your joints worth it? i know to ladies from my gym that are fanatical with cross fit. both have had serious knee injuries already and neither can do a strict bodyweight pullup or dip. that tells me something right there. do they look fantastic? yep but they are both younger than i am and they say that their elbows shoulders and knees are trashed in less than 2 years. i say light to medium paced cardio along with smart weight training and a good diet and you are happy healthy and more geared toward longevity in the goals you are seeking
