Tweetlike we have all said before, we watch sports for sports, not to hear these over paid morons complain about their misfortunes or bias. i dont want my politics mixed with any of my entertainment whatsoever
TweetMore and more of my friends watch and spend less on the NFL...I think the last couple years of over paid circus performers has soured the sport. Advertisers pulling out, etc better have the owners on high alert.

TweetStill big in out town but so is college football. Politics and the media are ruining sports which used to be an outlet and fun times for people.

TweetI could be wrong but I think everyone has it wrong. This isn't about the Fflag it's about Trump and the media will run with it.

TweetThose idiots didnt even think that they were cutting their own throats by protesting while on the job. Now nfl revenues will drop and we will see player salaries going down instead of up for the first time in forever...It serves them right for being idiots
TweetIt will go slow like baseball. I think rules to protect players will take away excitement and that will be the death knell
but it will last a long time. just because viewership is down some does not mean that folk will not forget this crap next season and it will rise again.
I limit myself to one college game and one pro game a week. or I could waste a whole damn weekend on football
TweetI personally haven't paid much attention to it this year. Once all the political crap started flaring up in the beginning, I just started tuning it out. It was a good entertainment escape for me, but now it's of just no interest. If I want to listen to people's opinions on what's going on in society, I'll watch the news. I watched football for football. As long as they try to combine it in any way, I'll find something else to entertain myself with.
TweetMy viewership has declined significantly over the years....honestly couldn't tell ya why.
Some is a function of time as I coach club soccer 10mos+ in a year and maintain a bunch of outdoor hobbies.....that being said I NO longer watch the night games either EXCEPT I do tune in at the beginning of Monday night to hear the Bank Williams JR song of the week

Tweeti was one of the many who emailed the commissioner to voice my absolute disgust over the anthem shenanigans and haven't watched a game since. i as lots have mentioned watched football for the sports value, not to see millionaires protest their deepest beliefs, while being paid to be on the clock by their employers instead of doing it somewhere else on their own time and disrespecting my flag in the process. fuck, even Usain Bolt during the Olympics stopped a reporter interviewing him to stand at attention while the American national anthem was playing, a Jamaican man paused to stand for our flag and anthem but our own athletes won't? fuck that, when they finally amend the current NFL policy into an NFL rule and start swinging the hammer on these ass clowns who make a fortune playing a child's game i will not be watching the sport again.
TweetWell said BigDawg !
Leaders did what others weren't willing to do, now they enjoy the things that others do not.

TweetFootball is on the way out. The golden years are over...Its going to keep going downhill because parents wont let their kids play football now that it has been proven to cause permanent brain damage...eventually there wont be much interest in the sport and people will find another sport to obsess about...Never thought I would see the day that football is dying but its happening
TweetBoth my wife's side and my side of the family have a heavy military background, so we actually don't even allow anyone to wear anything that licensed by the NFL into our house...we sure as hell don't watch football anymore. Bunch of candy asses....the NFL has no problems keeping people on the payroll who beat/demoralize women, kill innocent animals, but then chastise someone like Tim Tebow who kneeled at games in religious respect...only to turn around and let these pieces of shit disrespect the very thing that gives them the priviledge to shit on America through their B.S. tactics. Pure bullshit.
Stacker...
TweetJust watching less and less...some of it is getting so bad too...college isn't putting out the talent it once did either so teams are just getting worse and worse
