Damn this brings back memories of my first shot which was in the glute. I picked up that needle shaky as hell and just held it about an inch away from my skin for a couple mins. Just when I was about to put the needle down and say fuck it, I lightly put the pin up against my skin and before I knew it I was pushing it in with no pain!.
After I had finished I actually was looking forward to my next shot.

I actually enjoyed it after. I was using only long esters and probably would have done fine with a Tren/Prop

IMO -- It's all about doing it correctly and knowing what is happeing - what you are putting in your body. If you are "scared" perhaps you aren't ready and you should keep researching. You should feel pretty confident when self administering medication... do some more reading to get rid of the willies...

i was "anxious" and "excited" with a little nervousness in there. the needle didn't scare me at all. i get queezy with IV needle issues, but not needles in general or IM injections. i had a few friends who all had someone do it for them the first few weeks. and they offered to do it for me.....but i wanted to do it myself, like everything else. if i can't handle it myself, then f*ck it. just take your time and load up the syringe a while before.....sit down and do something that calms you down....when your ready just go do it. make sure you read up on what you are supposed to be doing, so you don't run into questions right in the middle of it. i recall not being able to draw the EQ out the vial (didn't know it took so long with a 25G)....so i emailed gilly on EF...and of course he laughed at me, then gave me pointers. and losing the gains....well who isn't scared of that. that is scarier than any fricking needle if you ask me. but i know i am experienced enough with diet and supp/training after all these years, that there is no problem there. hopefully you are prepared to do what is necessary to keep what you gain.

lol. i got right up and walked around....sat at the computer...then got light headed and fucked up feeling. just did make it to the bed after almost passing out twice on the way to the bedroom. layed there for a short while and let it pass...almost like i was half unconscious......but i never fainted goddamnit! post shot anxiety attack, never saw it coming.

i was alittle nervous my first injection. got light headed during and right after i did. after that though i look forward to injection days.

I had no problems my first shot but it did take me over a year to get my workout partner to stick himself.
