      first workouts were at 12. competed in first powerlifting meet at 16.

      Not until it was too late for me to compete. I have been working out all my life but didn't start weightlifting until I was 30+.

      22 but left it for some pretty bad choices.got back into it for real at 41 and hope to be in my 1st comp by 45...

      started at 12, got serious by 15ish, was my biggest at 18 which is depressing since I'm almost 25 now and weigh 40# less.

      Probally in my early thirties is when I began doing it more regulary, I realized it's what kept me alive and it was something fun and good for me, no matter what the weather was like or if I had a partner.
      Leaders did what others weren't willing to do, now they enjoy the things that others do not.
