How old is to old for long hair?

TweetDoes age really matter? Also, there is nothing worse than seeing a woman with long gray hair. I say if she is going to keep it long, at least color it.

Tweeti agree!!!! i keep telling boo that!!! she's starting to get the gray going pretty good (i'm sure the stress is the culprit), but she will not cut it short (which i think she could ROCK a short cut) and she wont die it (long died with maybe a frost?? niiiiice)....so...whatever...her hair.

TweetSee...I disagree here. I love long hair. always have. I have a thing for long curly hair. I don't think there's an age that hair should be cut short. It actually bugs the shit out of me to see an elderly couple walking, and the only way you can tell which one's the male is by the color of their clothes. Sometimes it's more difficult than that. Elderly women look just like elderly men with those do's they do half the time.
On the color thing. I have seen some hot, mature women that have gone gray, kept it long, stylish, and they rock the hell out of it. Looking nothin but sexy. Then their are those, I'm sure, that look better colored than leaving it gray. Because some gray's are better than others. Some are silver, platinum(without the blonde)-that would be a true platinum. So, it just depends. I like long hair though. I like short do's as well. Heck, my wife is a short hair person. She does short hair awesome.
It just depends on the individual. I think. I don't think there can be a definite 'line in the sand' for this one.

TweetYes some women can wear gray hair, but there is no doubt that when your gray it just makes you look older. Since I color many women's hair, I have seen women appear younger after getting rid of gray. Long and gray is a double whammy!

Tweetlol...no. Short like my wife's is fine with me on the right petite woman. My wife has a do like that blonde fitness model that everybody thinks is hot. I forget her name, but she's sported that hair for a long time, same as my wife. My wife has changed it up a few times.(still short do's), but she always goes back to that cut that she's had for...hell...I guess almost 17yrs now. But there are those women, like my mother, that definitely look beter with long hair. And she's about to hit 60. She's doing 58 very well too. But she's 5'8", about 125lbs. She still has long blonde wavy hair. It looks fine. Sometimes she'll get it chopped off just passed shoulder length, and layered. It looks very good that way too, but if she hacked it off. like my wife does in the back. That would look like shit on my mom. She hasn't gone gray, so I don't have anything to compare or comment on with her sichiation.
My aunt Jackie though. She has shorter hair. It's gray too, and looks good. She might do something with color. She's very sharp, and stylish. This woman does everything a woman can possibly do to stay pampered and lookin good. Including surgeries here and there to adjust this or that, a new car about every 6 months. I've never seen her wear the same thing trwice, so...I would think that she does something to the color of that gray. That's just her. But she leaves it gray. Always a way cool hairdo though. That woman always looks like she just stepped out of a magazine. But, she rocks the gray very well.

Tweetokay, I just found out that aunt Jackie actually does color her hair, which I figured she did something to it. It is gray, but she puts high-lights and low-lights??? I guess you'd call them?..in her hair.

TweetLong hair always looks better on a woman, regardless of age. I know a girl who looked awesome with long hair and last week she cut it way way short. Its even buzzed in the back. She definitely is not as attractive now with her boy haircut. She should NOT have done it. Shorter hair on a woman is fine as long as she doesnt go crazy and give herself a crew cut. Yuk.

Aint nothing wrong with dying your gray hair. Gray will always make a person look OLDER.
