TweetAnyone into computers?
I wanna build one and need to compile a list of parts I will need..never done it before. I want a reliable cpu with a good bit of memory, a good dvd/cd burner, storage for pics and music, pretty much best quality for cheapest possible.
What you guys think of this stuff? ...anything better and what else you need to build a computer?

Tweetyour best bet is find an already built computer, look at whats in it, then you will know what you need. Also, try out newegg.com, great place for this kinda stuff. i bought a fully custimizable laptop, its the asus c90. i recomend building your own, but really make sure you know what your getting and how to put it all together. you will also need an operating system ie. windows.
TweetI build all my own computers man. Let me give you some help here.
Get a dual core pentium, there is no software on the market that can support a quad core. Get the fastest processor that you can for the money. Get an ASUS or ABIT motherboard that is compatible. Hard drives are tricky because not only do you want a big one but you want it to be fast if you really wanna drop a little cash get a solid state drive they are lightening fast. Get you a blueray burner as i believe the can burn dvd's and cd's and then you already have the new tech. As far as memory goes if your going to run xp get 4 gigs if yoru going to run vista get 8 gigs. Building a good computer can get spendy fast but a well built custom is cheaper will perform better and last longer than a pre bought.
