TweetAnyone into computers?

I wanna build one and need to compile a list of parts I will need..never done it before. I want a reliable cpu with a good bit of memory, a good dvd/cd burner, storage for pics and music, pretty much best quality for cheapest possible.

What you guys think of this stuff? ...anything better and what else you need to build a computer?
