Yeah he's close, but technically he already has. Ron Paul only takes from individuals, not companies (as you already know). So if he would take money from corporations/companies he would of beaten Kerry's record out of the water as I'm sure a big chunk of Kerry's money was from them.

And didn't Kerry get this much money when he was ALREADY the selected Dem to run against Georgy Boy?

this is awesome..gave some $ today..its fun just watching the donation meter, how fast its going up..Besides all the things his campaign can do with this $, the best part is the media cant deny him exposure for breaking a record.
