What a night at the Dojo !

TweetWell I've entered to compete in the 2007 Fall Invitational Classic lastnight. yeppers, im entering in all three of the events this time,..One Step Demo, Kata, and Sparring. I went to the evening class lastnight and after my girl Suzie and bro Jerimiah talked me into it,..I sat down and filled out all the entry forms..and got fitted for sparring gear by the Master himself. yeah I used to go to the evening classes before that last skank left me but since I was in town working I decieded to go. man talk about tripping ! everyone was just so jazzed to see me again, I was greated by tons of hand shakes and smiles from everybody. it was like I was some celeb or rockstar ! I mean damn, I didn't realize I was that liked by everybody. hell I was getting all kinds of praise and pats on the back from Master Peerl, and me and his wife just got into this conversation for most of the time. anyway, so yeah im going to head over to a friend of mine and ask him if he'd be interested in training me for sparring. he's into MMA and been invited by Ken Shamrock to train last month. he's got a lotta pop and enthusiasim, plus he's been asking me for some time now. im pretty damn sure he can get me conditioned and ready. im going to need it cause I haven't sparred since I was a lil kid. man I cant tell y'all how on f'img clouds I am ! I met my dream girl finally, got a new job (maby two), some cool new friends..damn all I need now is a gym bag full of twenty dollar bills ! lol ! so yeah today im going to do some PR and invite as many of my friends to go..some elk steaks, cold brew and a few BH's should work huh ? anyway, im just feeling really good and I wanted to share that with you all. Life is really good peeps,..ya never can tell what tomorrow is going to bring. I mean damn look at ol' ByRoN !

Tweetcongrats on returning to the dojo brudda. i had been more into teaching but about 4 years ago we flying out to the world championships and three years ago i asked my sensei to train the hell out of me for one last shot at the championships. i took 3 firsts and just missed the grandchampion title, then i was bitten and even though i'm goddam 40 i have taken straight firsts the last three years. never too old. all it takes id the fire in your belly and the focus to train until you puke and the sky is th elimit bro. kick ass and let us how you do.
