Tweetfrom a lexus to a nissan?...your all over the board. there's alot of dicent auto's in each one of those manufacturing groups...you might wanna narrow it down a little more...
TweetWith all these problems my car has given me.. I decided to get rid of it by trading it in. I have a list of cars that I'm interested...
1.) Lexus
2.) Infinity
3.) Acura
4.) Toyota
5.) Honda
6.) Nissan
Now I know everyones gonna say go for Toyota - I had camry 03 before was pleased but the car doesn't have what I want.. if worse comses to worse I'll go with Toyota just because those things never breakdown.

TweetWell since you have/had an AUDI S4, that means you are looking for a luxury sports sedan correct? Only Lexus, Infinity and Acura can offer that.
These are my top pickings for luxury sport:
1. Lexus IS250 - IS300 doesn't come with a (manual tranny)
2. Infinity G35 sedan (there is the G37 coming out in 08)
3. Acura TSX
For the remaining brands i'd get these:
4. Toyota ---N/A ---> There isn't a sport sedan in the toyota line up.
5. Honda Accord ----> Fast and still gets good gas mileage.
6. Nissan Maxima ----> Fast and looks great!
TweetIMO I think Lexus makes the ugliest lookin cars, I don't like anything they make.
I'd go with the new Infinte G35X or an Acura TL Type S for a luxury sedan.
For the cheaper priced:
Again with Toyota, I don't like their vehicles to much either (Im picky).
The Nissan Maxima and the new Altima are nice.
Honda Accord is nice too.
Tweeti've got a 96 honda accord, before i was always car nute, i always would just buy what i fell in love with, they had too look sexy and in my budget, imho, like dave always says, all the japanese and american cars are great on reliability, it's the germans and europeans who obiviously like too spend alot of time working on their cars and walking, i guess cause eveything is soo close there
buy what u like and are proud of
TweetI would hands down go with an Infiniti G35 Sedan or coupe.
First it's been rated among the top ten safest cars on the road, second it will hand 90% of cars out there their azzes, third it handles amazingly, fourth it has a good resale value, fifth they are very reliable, and last it's classy.
Honda's don't exude class or performance, they exude economy. Toyota's are 100% overrated and ugly. Lexus is just a rebadged Toyota. Acura's are underachievers according to most reviews. Nissan's are pretty good, but the Maxima is way overpriced (and Infiniti is a rebadged Nissan).
Did you know that the G35 is the Nissan Skyline in Europe? Skyline has dominated car races everywhere for a reason.
Just so you know I'm not talking out my azz....I regularly (about once a month) go out to dealers and test drive all of the newest stuff. I find it fun because I love cars, and love to see what advancements in technology, power, and handling have taken place.
I've probably test drove upwards of about 50 cars in the last two years. I can give you a whole list of what's good and what's not. I'm a dealers worst nightmare because I pick cars apart. When I buy a car I want looks, speed, safety, handling, and technology. Many people say you can't have all of them, but some cars out their truly are the total package.
From Vette's and Bimmers to Subi's and Srt's I've test drove most of the high performance vehicles on the market today.
TweetLexus is a division of Toyota. Just like Acura is a division of Honda. You can't go wrong with any of the four of them.
We just bought my wife an Acura TL A-Spec and it is by far the best car we have ever owned. I have a Toyota Sequoia which I like but the gas mileage is spit!
TweetStick with Honda and Acura, cant go wronge with that. Honda is known for making the most power per litre than any other car, plus they build the best engines. Acura is the same becuase, well Acura and Honda are the same thing. Toyota and Nissans are both OK, but nothing special.
Tweetdjdiggler - how would you rate infinity (any model) when it comes to reliability, cost repairs, etc.
TweetI would go Honda, they have the best longevity, the most cars with 30+ MPG and they don't cost much to have repaired. At least, not like a Lexus would cost.
Tweetthis is why i left fla.!!!!! damn strokes running around test driving cars for the fuk of it...if you had to take a day off from work you wouldnt come to my place of biz. and waist MY time!! how about if every salesman you've ever stroked were to call you to come over to they're house and do an estimate on work to be done, becouse they want to see the lastest in estimations??!!!! GOD THAT PISSES ME OFF!!!!
