He isn't expected to make it out of the hospital, he's been in ICU for a couple of days now with a major lung infection. He's been living with the extreme burdon of AIDS for about 15 yrs. now. Ralph is one hell of a guy. We've always argued over politics and what not, he's VERY liberal which I always thought was odd considering he has a Masters in Divinity from Yale, lol! He has worked in various hospitals as a chaplain in Philly and when he was in school at Yale as well. He volunteered his time to speak with others in the end stages of AIDS, gone to various healthcare facilities educating the workers on AIDS and the misinformation out there. Despite being a very spirtiual man and his eagerness to help, he's had a hard time finding a "home" within many churches because of this disease. Can you believe that? In 2006, people with this disease are still met with more prejudice than you can imagine. Noone treats those with cancer or heart disease like this, but I could go on and on with that whole deal. Just please remember him. Thank you.
