      when you know you shouldnt get up in the morning but you do anyway and the day is terrible just like you knew it would be?

      you know what i mean? holy crap what a bad day!

      i had a lady call and schedule an appt with my sergeant to discuss my methods of enforcement. (she is crazy as a barrel full of squirrels) ever since i got transferred to the police dept my life has been tough although things are settleing down now and i at least have my old hours back no more nights and weekends.

      the lady got in with him and proceeded to tell my boss that i was a heathen and i was going to go to hell for writing her a citation for "no reason" even though i had documentation of contact and written warnings spanning back to 2004 which she said was all falsified.

      i got called into my sgt's office after and spent an hour i could have been working discussing all the craziness she spewed forth during their meeting. (he knew it was BS but still had to discuss it you know politics)

      then as i was leaving the PD i went to get a drink from 7-11 and had a woman back into me as i pulled into the lot. i still had to take a piss test (no prob there) but once again i was unable to work. i was not allowed to drive until my test came back so i had to work the front answering stupid ass questions the rest of the day.

      funny thing is i had a funny feeling when i woke telling me not to go to work.

      all is back to normal now although my inspections are a bit behind still, the old lady is still crazy and my boss is still overworked and scatterbrained.

      one good thing to come out of it is i was allowed to work OT, anybody who knows city governments knows how damn stingy they are

      Happened to me this past Monday.
      My entire day was screwed up throughout work. Then when I got home that evening, my lady was home (she usually get home 2 hours after me). She stayed home from work to go to her doctor for stomach pains that she'd been having.

      Turned out we lost our baby. She was 2 months pregnant.
      Loved by some, Hated by most, but RESPECTED BY ALL
