What I'm looking for is the minimum amount of sugar that would cause your insulin levels to spike, seems that if it was as high as 50g or 75g you could eat candy bars every 2 hours and your insulin levels would still stay flat......somebody has got to know

You insulin levels are going to spike somewhat after any amt of carbs... the amt of carbs will dictate the severity of the spike.

I understand that it will spike, however, when cutting you try to eat foods with a low GI to keep your insulin levels fairly flat, so what is the cutting point with the sugars to keep from going to high???
