    Ancestry results, getting your family tree.

    Has anyone done this yet?
    Its amazing and I highly recommend it. Its mind boggling. I just joined it today and within 30 minutes I had my family tree all the way back to Ireland in 1815. I saw multiple pictures of my ancestors, tombstones, military history, work history, newspaper articles, etc. You could spend hours reading up on your ancestors. My great grandpa was the first sheriff in Colorado in the 1800s and Ancestry has his picture and tombstone. Unbelievable. I had no idea all this shit was available online

    I am going to do 23 and me as it has a comprehensive health DNA screen thing. Found my fitness has an app you put in your results and it tells you if you have a propensity for heart disease, Alzheimer's ect.

    It does not tell you, lineage per se. It is simply regions and %s of your DNA's origins. And lets be frank it is not 100% correct but damn close. I am adopted and have no idea of my ancestry, biological family ect.

    I bet if some of my biological fam is on there and all of the sudden they see a half brother pop up on their family tree thingy they will shit themselves. Mom banged some dude and put the baby up for adoption? OH SHIT! HAHAHAHA

      I tracked my genealogy last night on ancestry. com & I was able to go all the way back to 1490 in Germany. Holy crap. I also found ancestors that migrated to Virginia from France in 1700. Found an ancestor who was a lieutenant in George Washington's army. I love this stuff. You could spend days on this thing and keep finding new information

          Its worth the $59 for me. I highly recommend this. Its amazing to look at your genealogy from yourself all the way back to the 1400s, with names , birthdays, occupations and stories of your relatives. I had no idea the amount of information I was going to find in a matter of minutes. Im still waiting for the DNA results and have already got my moneys worth out of ancestry dot com

            In the past, To create a family tree that extensive and detailed would have taken a lifetime of intense research. Now, with computers, it is available to you in a matter of minutes. Incredible.
