I'm thinking that it's not JohnnyB but it has been a while since I read the constitution which was in my Business Law class for my MGMGT degree.
Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master. George Washington

I do not condone the use of, nor do I use anabolic or androgenic steroids. My participation on these boards is for informational purposes only. I have done extensive research of AAS and enjoy discussing them for role playing enjoyment.

Yes there needs to be a seperation so the bible thumpers dont go off on a tangent forcing THEIR beliefs on everyone else. Their religion is their beliefs there should be NO reason on why I should have to abide by someone elses beliefs. That there would be unconstitutional.

It's in there. It's not a matter of whether you believe it's in there or not; it's there.

            Bill of Rights

            Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

not in those words, "seperation of chruch and state".

                  I'll second Roark
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion" meaning government cannot endorse any religion, even if you think yours is right.

yes there should be a separation of church and state..for the simple reason that not everyone beleives in the same god. This separation is diminishing and were a step closer to fascist gov't.

scary thought! You just described a theocracy.

this country was influenced by christian beliefs and not the way most christians claim. The F.F. wanted a nation opposed to religious persecution, i.e. puritan type laws (christians).

I dont want my day to day life dictated by some bible thumper. Im starting to regret voting for bush, the more and more i hear about his religious agenda.
