TweetHow Not to Throw Your Money Out the Window
Written by: Friggemall & basskiller @ https://**********************,com
There you are walking down 5th Avenue and right outside a really nice jewelry store is a guy selling “genuine Rolex watches” tells you as you’re walking by. You stop to take a quick look and be on your way, but you ask him why he’s outside and not in the store. He says to you, “would you have come in the store had I not been out here to stop you?” You said I guess not. He makes you a great deal and you can’t resist so you buy the watch and go off down the street with a smile and a little more confidence in your walk. You keep looking at the new Rolex admiring it, when about a block away the hands fall off. You turn and take off back to the store only to find the guy gone. You go inside and no one can help you because that guy has absolutely nothing to do with that shop and they don’t even know what you are talking about. You just got scammed out of your hard earned money.
This same thing happens time after time, day after day on these boards. Vets and the staff of the boards care about you and want to help you help yourself in keeping your hard earned money. What’s in it for the board? Absolutely nothing other than knowing its membership is safe, knowledgeable, and not preys for scammers.
So, how do you keep that money you work hard for and still pursue what you came looking for? Okay, you probably aren’t going to like some of this. Why? Because some of it is not the answers you want to hear, because you know what you want, or think you do, and you want it now. Great, take out your wallet, your debit or credit card and your check book. Walk over to your kitchen sink, stuff them into your garbage disposal turn the water on and flip the switch. Then call the plumber and see if he can get it back for you. But if you want serious help, please read on.
Be slick and don’t ask for sources or where to “find” gear or a gear hook-up when you only have a few posts. Hang out, participate and read. You'll see the people that really try to help, plus by reading you are guarantee to pick up some valuable knowledge about every aspect of this area. Even the most polished vet will tell you, everyone can stand to learn something new. What you will learn is who is here to really offer help. You won’t need anything special talent to figure this out. You also won’t need any special talent to figure out the ones that offer to help find a source. This is where caution must come into play Most of the time the person who is being so kind in offering to help you find that source is the same person you are corresponding with as a source but with a different e-mail address. This is a common ploy among scammers.
So if your still intent on wasting your money and listening to these guys when they tell you to go here or use this guy. Don't ***** or cry when you look back and think to yourself. Damn I should have listened to those guys. Do yourself a favor and listen NOW so you don’t regret later.
You see all the One Post Wonders that come onto the boards, usually with very few posts and throw up a list of steroid products or websites like clen4sale.something simular.
Well guess what? These are tactics scammers use to separate you from your money. They at best have fake gear to keep the ruse going and prey on your lack on knowledge about any given product. Because you see, no veteran of any board would ever buy from them as we know they are scammers. We also know or have at out disposal, many ways of finding out if something was to be fake, one being our own experiences with these products, the second is the ability to dip into the wealth of knowledge of others with experience.
Please do yourself a favor and not even open up a thread that reads something like "Steroids for sale" or "Do you want some steroid hormone powders?" or "new finished steroid supplier", "Get your free needles", because chances are, they are all scammers. I'd be willing to bet all of them are.
Still not convinced, because “your new guy” said something like this: "Let me send you some free steroids to prove I'm legit". This is another common scammer tactic. Now while the gear he does send you will be real. You figure, "It's real so this guy must be good" ...Nope wrong again!!! It costs him pennies to send you a few pills, while he takes you for several hundred dollars when you place an actual order. They make a killing that way.
PM, (personal message), system on these boards are a very nice idea, but they are also not secure, so don't use them to transact business. They are also a scammer’s best weapon of choice. You see, no one but you and the scammer can see what he's trying to do to you. Again separate you from your money. That's when they are at their best. They can spot a newbie just by the way he posts. Almost anyone that has been on these message boards and forums can do the same. They will hone in on you and try to win your confidence by helping you with questions and answers. Then go in for the kill either by you lowering your guard and asking him, or him saying that he "knows a guy". Either that or they will straight out PM you telling you that this guy or that guy is a good hook up. Remember “a guy” is probably him using a different e-mail address. All it takes is a couple of these a week and this scammer is sitting on Fat city. Don't fall prey to them. Always ask someone that you trust and not some reference that he gives you. “Why not ask his references”, you say, “You guys are always saying to check before you transact business with these people.” Well here’s why, that person is most likely him using a different email address or handle. The best bet is to ask someone you trust.
Don't be anxious, you will lose you money or worse, you could be injecting something into your body that may even kill you. Scammers DO NOT CARE about you. All they want is your money.
Another known scheme used by Scammer is to used a similar email to a really well know veteran. He's betting that you won't know the real vet's email address. If you don't go to the board where this Vet normally posts and ask them if that is their true email. The scammer will win and wind up taking your money. I've had this done with regards to my name, basskiller.
Another email trick is to to have a similar email to a real source, maybe by switching or dropping a letter in the name IE:
yourfavoritesource@cyber-rights.net
your_favorite_source@cyber-rights.net
Neither of these are actual source emails by the way. But, can see the difference between the two. Essentially they are the same words but one has underscores in-between the words. One could be the real source and the other in the scammer trying to what????? That's right, "GET YOUR MONEY!"
