Re: California releasing dangerous criminals to save $$
Mexican drug lords and drug gangs in general have been moving drugs into our country your years....a good steady stream the last 20-30 years.
It's good old supply and demand. We have a ton of demand but little to no supply thus our Latin American countries brining in massive amounts of drugs.

Isn't this a scenario of cutting off your nose to spite your face??
Look at the domino effect of releasing criminals to reduce costs
1. Crime will increase
2. Law enforcement will need to increase
3. Security costs will increase
4. Scared Households will move
5. Tax revenue decline
The list can go on and on but i think you get the point

Re: California releasing dangerous criminals to save $$
i say quietly take on a free cruise to the pacific ocean and dump those miscreants over the side with lead life jackets
they do nothing positive for society they have no use. sounds cruel but now the law abiding citizens will pay the price

Re: California releasing dangerous criminals to save $$
that's not cruel,
Before throwing over the side, give a few slices on their legs to draw blood and let the sharks get them. They would be like little fishing bobbers in the water. now you see them, now you don't.
That could be considered cruel by some.
