      I'm very sorry to hear that Nate....I hope you're doing well.

      Mine would probably be similar...I was my mother's primary caregiver of close to the last 5 yrs of her life with emphysema. She died on my birthday....so probably saying goodbye to her on my birthday.

      Sorry to hear that Nate and Mck, Unfortunatly mine has to do with my father passing last january. In which my wife, brother and myself all took turns doing cpr on him until paramedics showed up. But he was gone. Can't get those images out of my head.
      Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups

      Sorry to hear that you guys,... While my brother was in ICU I told him I would be back soon to bring him home,..he died from staph the nextday.

      I had to put my pet rat to sleep a few months ago....I held him in my hands while he slowly drifted off after the dr injected him.(cancer)... I never thought i'd cry over a rat but he was my little buddy....I have pictures of him on my shoulder and others of me holding him sitting with my dog.


      there was something much worse but I'd rather not talk about...
