okay my next question when you're on a cut cycle some bodybuilders say to stay away from fruits because of high sugar. but then someone will eat it. So, when on a cut cycle should I stay away from fruits? If so how should I get my vitamins naturally.

Re: fruits
personally for me and all the other normal people in the world no sugar when coming down at all. if you are a lean person to begin with and have no problems with stripping the very little body fat you carry, then i would say pour it on. what i tell people that have fruits and sugar in their diets is to try to get it in around training. that way at least you can put the surge in slin to good use and hopefully burn it off. their are also tons of nutrient dense foods you can opt for without adding sugars into your diet. kale broccoli califlower(sp) asparagus and the list goes on and on.TGBSupplements REP

Re: fruits
Thats always a tough issue since fruit is scientifically proven to prevent cancer and other diseases but its hard to get ridiculously lean if youre eating too much fruit. I would say a couple cups of fruit every day isnt going to show up as fat. Pre contest, you might want to cut out the fruit for a while. If youre cutting out fruit, just make sure you are eating a lot of low glycemic vegetables.

Re: fruits
A good ole apple on an empty tummy is not a bad thing. So many good benefits and so many different varieties. I stick with fujis and they are sweet enough. the green (granny smith) is supposed to have the least sugar but it is definitely tart. I agree with dzone that fruits has an amazing amount of benefits but I would say if you are going to eat it, do it earlier part of the day or as guns said.Veritas Vos Liberabit

I agree guns. I like to be on the "softer" side, and the best for me is around 18% bf. Going to be 47 soon and I am not looking to be how I was 20 years ago. Just healthy and feeling good is what matters to me most now. This is why I hang around the elderly people at the gym...makes me feel beeter and they motivate me to get my ass there in spite of how I feel.Veritas Vos Liberabit
