any feedback is greatly appreciated. what i would like to achieve is advance fat loss while retaining muscle and/or staying anabolic (if possible). not sure if the below direction will work. please feel free to make recommendations, comments, or if you just simply feel like talking shit thats acceptable here as well.

stats: about a month ago i checked and am sitting at 200lbs w/ 18.5% bf.

supplements: started last week 200mg test c (trt) every 2 weeks w/ 50mg test p & 100mg npp eod. test p and npp will be for a duration of 4 weeks with roughly a 2 week break (getting tested for trt levels) and then back on again.

    p c f calories
    meal 1 6 eggs 42 0 30 480
    2.5 slices of gluten
    free bread 10 80 11.5 375

    meal 2 8 oz chicken 43 0 5 231
    coconut oil 0 0 14 120

    meal 3 protein shake 45 10 4.5 320
    almond milk 2 0 5 60
    kale 2 5 0 25

    meal 4 8 oz chicken 43 0 5 231
    2oz cashews 10 18 26 320

    meal 5 5 eggs 35 0 25 400
    total 232 113 126 2562

training: 4 weight session & 8 cardio 30 minute session either fasted, post workout, or whenever on non-weight days (which i will perform 2 cardio sessions). (considering adding a 30 min session per week depending on progress)

training protocol: short rest periods between sets averaging roughly 30 sec with low-moderate weight and high reps. rep range is 20, 15, 12, & 10. weight sessions take anywhere between 30 - 45 min or until muscle failure is persistent.

that carb count doesnt appear to be right. i was actually going for roughly 20 - 30 carbs less than what i have listed. i'll check later and update it if necessary.

carb count note: correction, it is currently at 88 grams.

nutrition note: i also neglected to mention that i am eating between the set times taking meal 1 starting between 1 - 2 pm, and last meal ending between 10 - 11 pm. why this is noteworthy is bc i use to start breakfast around 9 - 10 am, and would fit an additional meal by the time 10 pm hits, however i am attempting to utilize the concept of intermittent fasting.

man it sucks looking back on last year and knowing that i was sitting at 215lbs with 12.5% bf...

This is just me. But I would cut the carbs down even more and up the fat to around 200g Looks like the carbs are coming from good sources but I would try to get my energy from fat rather then carbs. Again this is just me, but you stated you were trying to stay anabolic. So I would drop the intermittent fasting. I mean every time those nitrogen levels, and insulin levels get low your body will try to go catabolic and it will get there the longer you go between meals. I would find the calorie intake you are looking for and divide it by 5 eat five meal, and eat that many calories each meal. Then you can adjust your macros for higher fats before workouts. I don't know what your water intake is ,but I would also try to get a gallon a day to help keep the extra water weight off. Good luck with what ever you decide.

good point. i guess im just worried that the amount of calorie intake im consuming would be spread too thin by eating breakfast at a normal time. the water is up to a gallon currently, and am striving for a gal and a half.

considering lowering carbs and adding a few more oz's of cashews, are there any set backs with cashews?

Not that I can think of. I mean that will give you extra fat and protein so cashews would be good for me.

Well unsalted cashews would be best.

                          stats update: 200lbs 16.4% bf

it has been exactly 5 weeks between checking bf and ive dropped just shy of 2%. according to the numbers i have lost 2.9 lbs in 5 weeks (if i am interpreting this properly.) i shouldve checked before i started back on again as i am wondering if the gear is influencing the numbers. and if it is then i wonder how its influencing the numbers. i do know that prior to starting back up i was at 195 lbs, so since the gears induction (12 days) in such a short amount of time ive gone up in the weight by 5 lbs. could the bf % that ive dropped be less/more due to the gears influence.

                            stats update: 199.3 lbs @ 15.2% bf

meal plan note: sunday morning i had a cheat meal, however the amounts consumed that were off the reservation were miniscule. i had fried diced potatoes (obrien) with ketchup that was amazing, everything else remained constant. its funny how you appreciate things like this more when your focused on a strict diet.

monday: ended up being an exhausting day where i was only able to squeeze 2 meals in before i crashed on the bed and slept for about 15 hours, no workout. this is a rare day.

so far i am happy with the week long progress and am not altering the workout program at this time. my plan is to alter once progress slows, and possibly throw in a fat burner. my goal is to break 10%, and my pr is what i ended up with last year and i think that was around 12.5% bf.

                              stats update: 200.6 lbs @ 15.4% bf

had a cheat meal this past weekend, and neglected a session and a half of cardio as well as chest and bi workout. chest and bi workout will double up on this week starting on monday. actually may have had more than 1 cheat meal, i had eaten 2 different rounds of fatty brisket with nothing else. not sure how this rains on the cheat meal perspective, but since i made no progress from last week to this its prolly safe to say that it is not something i should be eating.
