"Since I first began in the sport of powerlifting, I dreamt of competing at an Arnold Classic. What happened yesterday is still sinking in on many levels... Just so humbled, grateful, and honored to be able to complete on a stage with so many gifted athletes. We had a great game plan going in--executed it quite well--but with a truly unexpected slugging match, really portrayed how valuable teammates are, literally calculating until the last deadlift to ensure the win.
For the day: 7 for 9---Squat 705. Bench 475. Dead 680=1860 total at the body weight of 179.6 (over 10 times my body weight, currently moving me up to 2nd all time on the 82kg international list)
