TweetI would say that Usher played a BIG part in him being so big. I won't say I like his music, but if you have talent, you have talent....no denying that.
TweetI took my daughter to see this today and it was actually good. It is pretty amazing that someone discovered him on YouTube and now he is a huge success at 16 years old. He sold out 2 nights at Madison square gardens in 22 minutes of ticket sales. Just wonder how long he'll be a hit.

TweetBeing discovered is the big part..... I believe everyone is born with it. Just some people don't have a clue what to do with it. My friends on facebook have all said it was good. The didn't want to go but had to take their girls. Came back bragging about it.
Tweetyep, tn94. I saw him do a song on some awards show about a yr ago. The 1st person that came to mind was Usher. That Beaver kid bites Usher's style bad. But does a decent job at it and hits a whole nother generation and demographic.
TweetI dont know anything about this kids history or how he became so famous. I was under the impression that he came from a wealthy family who pretty much paid his way to hollywood.
Seems like every generation of young girls has that one boy that they go crazy for. Shawn cassidy, andy gibb, donnie osmond..they are all kinda the same type guys. theyre not exactly football players...lol
Tweet
His mother had him when she was 18 and became a single Mom when he was 10 months old. It didn't appear that he came from wealth at all. Just a lucky kid who had talent and was discovered on You Tube.

TweetThe kid did make the little girls rush the stage. He seemed to have talent.
I read a little write-up about him telling his choreographer something to the tune of 'don't ever put your f***ing hands on me again", just because the dance person moved him slightly over to where he was supposed to stand during practice on stage. And then the little smart-ass remark he made about Tom Brady copying his little hair-do. Brady's had that do since I can remember. That kid is really reaching trying to bust on Tom Brady.
I have a difficult time seeing the 'good' past such remarks. But, my daughter doesn't.lol. She doesn't know who Tom Brady is either, nor would I mention his little mouth to her.
I don't know if I should hold the child solely responsible anyway.
Tweet^I have seen him on some talk shows and the kid doesn't give off much humility. Oh well. Hopefully he is a good kid and doesnt turn out being a fruit cake
