TweetThats what I heard. I just got my Droid X on Tuesday and still haven't activated it. I have used a blackberry storm since fall 2008. Have had tons of problems with it, but I do love it. I have heard the droidx is much better.
Tweeti am getting ready to get rid of my iphone this weekend i just can't handle the way it's always on no signal 3-4 times a day. I think i am going to go with the the sprint evo. It's suppose to be an awesome phone. If verison had the droid x in stock i woudl probably buy it but i need something now.

TweetI spoke with my wife's friend last night and I was using my Iphone4. She asked how I liked it and I told her that it was working just fine. She pulls out her Droid and says that she can't stand it. So I started questioning her about it. She says that her and her husband have been through a total of 4 droids in the last 6 months because everyone of them had screen issues. She also talked about problems in getting around and using different things, but I just chalked that up to a possible user problem, but there could be more to it than that.
I don't think it matter what phone you go with, they each have their own problems. Just thought I would throw this out there.

Tweetdamn im proud to be Iphone free
three doodoo is back! Hide your women!
TweetI activated my droidx yesterday...By nightime I was calling verizon to switch my blackberry storm back on...At least until I have the time to learn the damn thing...The droid was a pain in the ass, just to change the font, I had to order a special app for it. I couldnt get it to synch with my bluetooth and then I accidentally made a call to an old girlfriend ..Oooops!!!..LOL...I will get back on the droid when I have time to devote to it.
TweetThat's interesting. I work with avionics and IT networking with computer systems so the droid is a popular phone at work. I would say I know of at least 6 or 7 people besides myself that have Droids and everyone of them loves it and has had no problems. My phone has worked flawlessly since the day I bought it over 4 months ago. My iphone worked well too but dropped calls so much I had to get another one. The AT&T service in CA, NV, and CO had been terrible. So far back at Verizon I have had minimal dropped calls and those were only in the middle of nowhere. There are plenty of good phones to choose from but like I said, the Droid has been great for me and I have not met a single person who has had a problem with it. For networking type work it is a must have. Anybody that understands Linux will know what I mean when I say my phone is rooted, which gives me the ability to operate at the root or admin level from my phone to all of my home computers and server. That is the beauty of the android operating system, it is Linux based. But anyone who doesn't understand this would probably be just as well off with an iphone.

TweetI wonder what droid she has. There are many phones with the android operating system so it may be a manufacturer problem. I have the droid Motorola as does my brother and his wife and several guys at work. We have not had any problems with them at all. But a girl at work has the droid eris by HTC and she has problems with hers, I believe the screen. From my experience and talking around and looking at the others, I will stick to Motorola Droids such as the X and the one I have. I do know a guy that has an incredible and so far he likes it and has no issues with it. But once I played with the X I found it to be better than the incredible, I think due to my bias for Motorola. And also, to be clear my iphone 3gs was an awesome phone but I could not handle the dropped calls any longer. I use my phone for work and it is paid for by my employer so when I drop calls on conferences and other business calls it was finally to the point where I had to go to Verizon.

Tweeti got my evo this weekend and i have to say i am pretty happy with it. I like the screen size and all the workings of it. the battery is a little crappy but not to bad and it's taking some adjusting and i will be rolling.
