Tweetthis is bad advise...one of the quickest ways to blow up a gasoline engine is from starting fluid...it is made for diesel engines, not gasoline....never spray ether in any engine unless you know what you are doing, and never spray in gasoline engine....ive seen it bend every push rod in the head from just small squirts...could be lots of things wrong....rule out the battery...if you had jumpers on it, there was plenty of voltage there...timing???maybe a timing chain/belt..pull the distributor cap(if it has a distr, and see if the rotor turns while cranking...if not the chain or belt is broke...could be a sensor/solenoid of some type...
