I asked him about the dead sea scrolls, and the Book of Mary Magdeline. His answer to me was "If someone walked into my office tomorrow, and said they had inarguable proof that Jesus was married, first person I would say would be Mary Magdeline?"
It was refreshing to speak to someone of his calibur and intelligence, who was open minded about different topics. He reminded me that the Bible was a bunch of readings that were found, and agreed upon by the Catholic church. So there might be 1000 other books that were all written at the same time. But the ones we see in the Bible were the ones the Catholic Church wanted us to see. And very easily, the Book of Judas and Mary Magdeline could have some validity.
Any thoughts that are open minded?
