Constant BS reasons prices went up. But then the average american forgets all this stuff and again chalks it up to supply and demand. Ludacris! No wonder they pull this stuff, the public is dumb enough to fall for their games!

TweetHorsepower I couldn't disagree more with you. I know though that no matter what I say it's going to be a stalemate with you and I on this one so I'll just leave it at that.
You need to not just go by what people tell you. Do some reading of your own, and don't just bank on the few positive responses you get. For every 1 positive I'm willing to bet there's 10 negative.
TweetDon't get me wrong DJ, I realize there are companies in a tailspin and areas of real life hardship, but there is economy that's blazing...let's see, off the top of my head...John Deere, First Solar, Research in Motion, Activision, Garmin, LDK, Google...I know...large corp right? Well there are plenty of areas where the small guy is banking and way in the black. Fiber optics, security systems, anything tech, but I am not blind to what's going on with some smaller companies that can't compete, and/or don't have the capital or buying power to make it thru a stutter.
Let me ask you this DJ. You're a business man. You're telling me you wouldn't want to have the success of major corp? Or, do like Branson, or whatever his name is from England, whose baby was Virgin(sp) records and he keeps it personal by splitting his corps when they reach a certain size?
Tweetwell...i went ahead and opened "the great depression" thread. i was expecting some great revalation that you had, had that i may have forgot about....what i read was you spouting off about shyt from you, and your friends point of view on wages and t-man setting you straight....average wage 10$ an hour?...jeez...i think there higher than that here and we gotta be one of the top states for un-employment!! we got people killing people for 100$ up here on the daily baises and they still make more than 10$ an hour on average!!..i dont see anything, anywhere, that you've ever said that was earth shattering or ground breaking...except the insurance scam thing!! that....that was brilliance right there!! still cant get over that con!

TweetFirst off I didn't know my grandma was my friend! Shows how well your comprehension skills are, which does explain why you just don't get a majority of what I write.
$10 an hour is not the average here, and it's not up north in western NY where my family is. So that's 2 bigger states that aren't aligned with your fact. While $10 might have been the average back then your not putting 2 + 2 together which seems to always be your problem. If $10 was the average hourly wage back then, and EVERYTHING has gone up in price, then I guess that $10 now equates to more like $7 or $6 an hour when trying to purchase the same amount of goods.
As for the insurance scam thing, I don't bother arguing it anymore because I think some stuff you just can't get across to people no matter how hard you try. The insurance part wasn't the only reason it happened, it played it's part in the overall scheme of things. I don't know why that's so hard to get?
Haven't you ever heard of a thing called "Motive" daved? That was one example of motive, followed by many others I was given. There wasn't 1 thing that the government gained & the elite gained by 9/11, THERE WAS MANY THINGS THEY GAINED!!!!!!!!
Although you mean well, I just think you are lost in denial. But atleast you're a Ford lover. So I'll give you some credit......
