TweetNICE bro..I got a springfield armory 9mm for christmas..Its a beauty too Your going to love that one.
TweetFiled my taxes today and am getting a nice refund so I'll be orderng my Glock very soon. I've been planning on this for awhile now. I've got a G19, but I also want a bigger caliber so I'm ordering the G38, which is a .45 GAP round. I'd buy the G21 and save on 45 ammo but the grip is a little big, a huge complaint among glockers. So they designed the GAP 45 which is on the 9mm G19 frame. Cant get any better than that.

Tweetall i got is a 12gage and a 20 gage and a bow..lol..i hunt a little....ok i hunt a lot..lol
TweetBe a good gun for plinking i guess.
I can tell none of u shoot in competions. Glocks are crap absolutely the worst trigger i have ever felt.Go to an IPSIC or a combat match and u wont find one Glock in the hands of anyone good.
Cops dont buy em cause they are great most i know hate them. Once u get a little rank in local PDs they will let the officers carry what they want. Alot of Colts in those holsters followed close behind by SnW.
TweetNot sure I agree with you 100% If your refering to competition shooting then yes something heavier and more precise is the answer. As far as pure durability Glock is the way to go...hence why almost every law enforcement agency in the US carries them.
But I'm not a gun nut so maybe you'd know better...
TweetOh I got a 45 too Just got the 9mm recently...My 45 is my baby!!
TweetI own a springfield xd 40 and like it alot better than the glock 22 I shot a while back. The Glock has a "blocky" grip and too big for my hand. It also has an odd angle when I aim. THe springfield feels alot more ergonomically correct and aims straighter. Also the Glock has a 5lb trigger vs the springfield 3.5 lb.
TweetTo each their own. Myself, I think the angle and fit that the Glock has is perfect for me, and the XD or M&P is designed a bit differently. The only other gun that I can say feels better in my hand than the glock is the Sig P229. An amazing firearm.
As far as the 5lb trigger, that is very easily converted to a 3.5lb, and is usually one of the first mods glockers do.
TweetI agree, to each his own! but I sleep with my glock! Its an easy carry too not to bulky not to heavy. I had a P229 and hated it, way to heavy.
TweetYea, thats why I'm not buying one of those, even though I love it. Its just too heavy. I keep my G19 on my nightstand at night. I also like the fact that the Glocks are "dry" guns, very easy to maintain and keep clean unlike some others out there.
Dont get me wrong, I love 1911's and Smiths and the like, but Glocks are just as well-rounded as you can get for a carry pistol.
