Yeah, the big difference is the damn Lobyists! Those guys have screwed the entire political system up. You can blame the presidents but the bottom line is, they 'all' are human and have allowed them selves to be swayed to favor special interest groups. It really does suck because they aren't working for us, they are working for their financial supporters. I still to this day wish I could have seen what a guy like Ross Peroe (sp) would ahve done. He was a successful stubborn old man stuck in his ways and I honestly think he would have told these special interest people to go phuk themselves. But, when threats on your family cause you to drop out of a race, that pretty much tells you how shady the entire system really is. Just think about it, if you are rich, you can hire ex-CIA, ex-FBI, ex-special forces and ex-police officers as your personal body guards. So, just how bad of a threat would one have to receive to drop out of a race?
