evidently even though he is a minor if there is a perceived threat he can be searched without me allowing it even though in this case i dont feel there was one.

i am done. i kept my cool. the super admitted that in this case where there was no immediate threat to anybody that i should have been called. i understand the policy is for the good of the students but the principals have to have the ability to apply these rules equitably and be able to use their judgent to lessen the disruption it causes for the student.

Absolutely! That's bullshit right there. You must be present before they can frisk a minor on a bullshit story like that. It's one thing if your child was seen pointing the knife at people, but here say is bullshit. The principle should have asked him to empty his pockets and show him his locker and that should have been it. I would surely file a complaint on the officer for acting on here say and not notifying you before he searched your son.
