TweetFunny story!
It depends if your wife has a good sense of humor.
Maybe wait till things cool down before saying anything.
TweetSo yesterday, I took the day off work and my wife took 3 of our 4 to her mother's house. So, I spent the day with my 3 year old son. He is on a Lego kick lately, so I played Legos with him all day. At one point in the day, I put one of the little guys heads in my nose to make him laugh. Then, he did the same. Pretty funny, right?
Well, about 7a.m. this morning, my wife runs into the room with him in her arms, he's screaming, she yells "we have to take Nate to the emergency room!" So I jump up, scared shitless and say "what happened?" She says, he got a lego stuck up his nose. I'm thinking, "oh shit, it's my fault."
So, i throw on some clothes, we get in the car, she drives. I'm in the back with him. Finally, I get him to blow it out and it flew out.
Should I tell her I tought him that? You have no idea how scared I was!
Now I know why the box says ages 8+

TweetWell she has a great sense of humor, but i feel bad cause she was calling her mom, her friends, saying how did he do it and all ....I'll probably tell her next time we have some drinks or something.
TweetGlad he's ok. That being said, it seems neither one of you qualified for the age 8+
TweetJust giving you a hard time thunder! I can tell you some stories about my two girls and all the times I thought I had a stroke because of what they put me through. Here's one....
Ashyln, the young one in my avatar, at age 2 walked up to the dinner table, grabbed my steak knife off my plate and ran before I knew what hit me, Stroke #1. Of course when I stood up it became a game and while running and squealing away from me she tripped and fell on top of the knife, Stroke #2 and stopped my breathing. I stood there for about 3 seconds, seemed like 30 minutes because I was afraid of the worst, of course she wasn't moving, Stroke #3. I rolled her over and what did I see??? a huge snot bubble from her nose because the blade hit the ground first, pushing the handle into her chest which knocked the wind out of her. After at least 100 kisses and an hour in my arms I finally put her down.
So you see, 1 incident, 8 seconds elapsed and I had 3 strokes and stopped breathing. Ahhh....kids, gotta love em.
Tweethey shit happens, good learning lesson. I wouldn't keep it from her.Originally Posted by thunderterd

Tweet Well being a mother of a boy myself....kids that age tend to be toooo honest and they idolize mommy...all she has to do is ask him where he learnt it and he will tell her...so your best bet would be to confess but stress how bad you feel and that you learned your lesson and will never do that again....then you talk to your son and explain that daddy is an idiot and never should of stuck anything in his nose , it's dangerous and that the next time daddy shows him something "funny" like that, he should ask mommy if it is ok to really do it!

TweetIf you decide to tell her after being warned not to.....wait a couple weeks, long enough for any trace of the fear she felt to disappear.
