TweetThat's still no gaurantee bro. Depending on the situation a spouse may still override the living will and/or a DNR. I'm actually dealing with a similar situation with a patient and her spouse. She signed a DNR and a living will however, her husband wants everything and anything done to bring her back should she go out. Now if she passed at say a dialysis center, they would honor her previous request, but should it happen in an ambulance or hospital, the husband could have cpr and any other measures done to try and bring her back.
