I need to get my life straight and start being healthy. There is one problem though... I lost motivation. I feel the same way sometimes...OK, this is enough...TOMORROW! I try and follow through with my promise to myself and usually after going 1 or 2 times and getting back into my routine...I'm set! I start getting more focused and after seeing results....I can hardly wait to get to the gym!

Do you have a workout partner? I hope things settle down a bit for ya agga

I'm the same way. My job was so busy all through December that I ended up out of the gym for 5 wks. Without the gym to keep me motivated, my nutrition went to hell. As a result, I added some nice new BF to my body! Ugh. For me there was no one thing to say to myself or see in the mirror. I just had to get back to the gym. Like it or not, want to or not, I just had to force myself to go. It's the old "bring the body and the mind will follow." It sounds corny, but for me it was like Nike says - Just Do It! So I did...whether I felt like it or not. Even getting up at 4:30a to go. You just have to get in there. It doesn't matter if you feel like going or not; you just have to go. Do that a few times and hopefully just being in there will motivate you to keep going back. Good luck!

This is very true. Everyone here at one point stopped working out or fell off the wagon. But it is up to you to jump back on. The motivation is what you could look like, or what you want to look like. Once you start noticing a difference, then it is like your heart changes, you strive for it more. You build up self confidence again. We can yell and scream at you to go to the gym, but in the end it has to be you that wants it! Do you have an old phot of how you would like to look again. Put that up, it should motivate you. If you did it once you can do it again. And we are always here for you....

This is an excellent idea. I often go back to my pics from my last cut. I have the before/after side by side - motivates the hell out of me! (or sometimes it depresses me 'cuz I've put some of that bf back on! lol! :p)

If you are like me the depression can only set in for a little while. It bothers the hell out of me.

Sometime it is good to treat yourself to something, as it will make you feel better about yourself. My wife goes to the spa or a treatment. Then maybe a new cut or something. It will give you an "Up" outlook you need, and YOU can do anything if you want to. Just kick yourself in the *** and get the hell out and on your feet, get into the car and go to the gym. Do not think about it just do it!!
