Tweet"Laughing" I guess it would depend. I mean for me at first I get into the buzz and jus wanna chill, but then I start rackin'em and get into it, with more focus I'd say. when I'm doing Kempo, now that's when it's really fun ! except for testing or tournaments, but it's cool because I get into the forms and combos, like glide n' flow with seemingly effortless precision in motion. Tweet70% of Americans drink alcohol.Alcohol is far and away the most widely used gateway drug in the world.
TweetI don't disagree with you on this. Not to .e tion that alcohol is physically addictive as well as psychologically. And on and on.
OTOH, there are plenty of people who drink "socially". I've witnessed this 'phenomenon'. People who go see a band play at a bar, for instance, and nurse a single drink for HOURS, often leaving half of it on the table when they leave for the night. Not really sure why they're drinking or what they're getting out of it. Certainly not a buzz! Or maybe so, I don't know, I never drank like that...
That never happens with weed, though. There is exactly 1 reason to smoke weed recreationally: to get high.

TweetNo controversy brother, just a difference of opinion. Your anecdotal experience is different than mine. I understand addiction very well as it affected someone very close to me for 7 years and almost caused a catastrophic end to the relationship.
There are many reasons to smoke pot other than the high. I have a vet buddy who smokes because it is far more effective at reducing his PTSD. I have a buddy I train with who has anger issues and has had trouble with the law for beating folk up. He smokes and has not had a significant problem since. It is effective for reducing nausea in chemo patients, more so than many doctor druqs with very few if any sides. Chronic pain, stress relief. All this is from a non-user. But I can see that it is far less destructive than alcohol or tobacco IMO and experience.
Hey man, life is all about folk with diff opinions. No worries on my end. Nothing but love for my friends here at FG even if they have diametrically different opinions. We are simply having a conversation I was talking about my posts that were removed.
TweetI've lived in the Netherlands for a couple years and started with using weed for a while..smoked it Vaped.oils and eatables but it wasint really my thing for a daily product..use it for nausea mostly and the occasional anxiety..I use kratom daily though I prefer it.
