TweetOh man that sucks.
TweetMy umbilical hernia has gotten bad as of late and i also developed an epigastric hernia that gets quite tender at times. My umbilical hernia pops out and gets uncomfortable very frequently now. So as of right now the plan is surgery on the 21st of June. Guess I'll be out of the gym for quite a while from everything I'm being told.
TweetOh man that sucks.
TweetSorry bro but u will rebuild be stronger and better
TweetDamn bro , my friend just had surgery for that , he was out for about a month . But just be easy , you'll be back in no time !!!
Most important is to get healthy , gyms always gonna be there !!!
TweetNever had an umbilical one but my two inguinal ones made me rethink the whole training thing back in 93&94 but doc said with the mesh and strengthening my abdominal area no reason I couldn't go back to where I was. Was out 6-8 weeks each time with those. I imagine longer with an umbilical one. Positive thoughts your way bro

TweetSorry you're having to go through that brotha. Prayers with you for a speedy recovery.
TweetSurgery pushed to Friday so a few more days in the gym.
TweetWell I had My hernia surgery yesterday and all went well. Not in significant pain right now believe it or not. Injected me with the long-acting local anesthetic that supposedly lasts for about three days. Between that and the Oxys not bad at all right now. I can't lift for six weeks but if the pain doesn't get any worse than it is wow.... Not nearly as bad as I thought. Everyone said it was gonna be excruciating so I guess we'll see here in a day or two.
TweetNice wish you a speedy recovery
TweetWishing you a quick recovery. My advice having gone through two hernia repairs is take it slow, and be mindful of trunk twisting movements until the mesh bonds. Knowing you this operation will not phase you and you'll back better then ever in no time!
TweetThanks all. They gave me a local injection of Experal at the end and it has severely decreased the need for narcotics so far. Pretty amazing.
