TweetCheck in I put anything,it's the carry on one they search
TweetI have decided to pay the 20 bucks and take a large check in suitcase since I need to take my supplements like Protein powder, etc etc.
What can I put in my checked in luggage? Any restrictions besides the obvious? Do they open your checked in luggage and go thru your shit?
And what are the limits for the stuff you carry on? Is it 6 ounces? Like what stuff do they take from you and throw in the trash?
TIA for any flying advice you can share.
Fuggit I should just drive LOL

TweetGood question for Fuzo here, he would know. I can tell you that he has always told people to put NOTHING of value ever in your checked in luggage

TweetJust make sure its all in the original packaging so if they do go through it they know what it is. I hardly take anything carry on cause its such a pain in the ass..
TweetIt is 3 oz on your carry on or it gets tossed...Yes they will search your carry on and PLAN on they will search or even steal from you luggage so be prepared. Your stuff like protein powder and stuff should be fine.
Plan on your luggage being gone through. Plan on items being stolen. Every chick I have traveled with has had her sex toy played with or moved. Don't ask me why you'd want to touch that!
Also its not hard to hide a few syringes, bring a bottle of B12 in case you are questioned. The best way to move a small amount of gear (oil) for your trip is in a eye dropper bottle. Buy a new one, keep the box...dump the sterile drops out. Put in a minimal amount of gear you can get live off of inside. Seal it back up, put the dropper back in the box, use a glue stick and seal the box with the dropper back inside. Deniability and also very unlikely its gets gone through.
TweetMy suitcase has a lock on it. If I check it in, will they make me unlock it?
TweetThey will cut the lock. I used to put locks on my suitcase, when I got to where I was going, all 3 locks were cut and placed in a baggie and Putin my suitcase.
TweetIt sucks, but safety and those people doing their job to keep everyone safe is priority. Some airports have tose fancy scanners that you need to go through before you check in. If they have any questions you can open your suitcase and allow themto search it right there. Once your done you get a sticker or tag on your suitcase which the person checking you in will see and know you went theough the security scan already. if you dont have it they'll send you todo it before checking in. Then you can put your locks back on and no one else will be able to open it.
TweetIts the standard lock that is on the samsonite suitcase. Not a padlock or anything overt. Not strong, but good for leaving stuff in the hotel I suppose.
