TweetI am just waiting for the day that a study comes out that water is bad for you.
Tweeti've decided to nix the ground beef in my diet... i have been eating up to 18oz. a day at times, and it makes me grow no doubt, but i have been reading that males who take in 3-4oz of red meat a day have an exponentially higher risk of colon cancer.
gonna switch it up to ground turkey breast instead. i've been slowly weening myself off the ground beef and to the turkey breast the last two weeks.
i'm still going to have a filet every now and then though, maybe even a big honkin' cheeseburger as my cheat meal on sundays... but i'm old and need to start thinking of the old man shit like my colon and prosate and shit...
so the meat mainstays are going to be turkey breast, chicken breast, and tuna.
thought you'd all like to know lol...

TweetI don't know what your diet looks like but you'll probably lean out after dropping all the red meat.

Tweetchicken and fish for me....but i do love me a good steak every once in a while!!
TweetPhreak....is this a serious or sarcastic post? With your mood as of late I'm uncertain?
I personally dislike groundbeef and rarely eat steak but its not because of possible increased risk of colon cancer, etc....but I just dont red meat much.
32....jesus christ...I must be ancient
TweetNo shit right? Im going to continue to eat red meat. I only eat steaks though.Originally Posted by scalleywag

switching to the turkey breast
TweetI like meat as well, but i read the articles and it is more predominant in men then in women. 32 is still young to be worrying about the prostate, but its never to early to supplement with saw palmetto. Actually ive made pasta sauce with ground turkey and you really can't tell the dif.
Tweeti would rather have my nuts cut off, than not be able to eat red meat

TweetI saw it was more predominant in male than female....but I wouldnt worry so much about colon or prostate cancer at the age of 32 unless you have a positive family history. However I know the time is coming up for annual colonoscopies, etc. and I think prostate exams are done yearly on you guys?
16-18 oz is a lot....I've never tried ground turkey before.
